Big Changes as Arbor Vital Joins We Love Trees

This season of changing colors is bringing my story of an aging body and an arborist business into focus.

Today I’m writing to share with you changes that are taking place. For some time, I have been dreaming of a model for aging that doesn’t require trying to keep up with the 20 and 30-year-olds, but also doesn’t require letting go of the relationships I’ve built and the trees I’ve nurtured over these years.

Some of you have remained with Arbor Vital for the over twenty years since I started passing out my cards and talking trees with you at the Farmers’ Market. You are more than just my clients, you are my friends. I’ve been dreaming of a model to age and remain your arborist.

And so now, I’m very excited to share the following changes!!! Josh Morin and I are merging Arbor Vital Tree Care with his tree care company, We Love Trees.

Josh Morin, a Board Certified Master Arborist, first got my attention speaking to our arboriculture communities at our local and national conferences. He’s good. His crew is good, and my crew is excited about working with his crew.

Our collaboration will allow my relationships with my trees and clients to remain in place while We Love Trees provides the part of the business that includes booking, billing, and “handling the desk,” which has never been my greatest love.

We Love Trees also brings an expanded menu of services to our table for instance:

— Enhanced, in-house diagnosis and treatment of plant health care that will include emerald ash borer treatments, soil analysis, and treatment programs to help improve the growing conditions of trees.

— And a “Wisdom of the Forest” program, which introduces local strains of beneficial fungi to help establish healthy growing conditions for trees.

So, going forward you can continue to reach out to me in the same way as you always have.

Your calls and emails will be returned by Monika at We Love Trees who is going to help facilitate the booking process.
